INSTALLATION OF NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE

Our Key Stages of Network Installation

Our installation process follows a structured lifecycle to ensure the network is robust, scalable, and secure.

Assessment and Planning: The initial step we take is to involve a thorough understanding of your organization's current and future operational requirements, including bandwidth, security, and scalability needs. It is in this stage which       we include a site survey to assess the physical environment and designing a detailed network blueprint (topology, layout of components, etc.).

Hardware and Software Procurement: Based on the design, necessary hardware and software components are sourced. Key components include:

  1. Hardware: Routers, switches, modems, hubs, servers, firewalls, and wireless access points (WAPs).
  2. Cabling: We ensure structured cabling which forms the physical backbone of the network.
  3. Software: Operating systems, network management and monitoring tools, and security applications.
  4. Physical Installation: In this stage we involve the physical setup of the components according to the design such laying down and managing cables, mounting racks and patch panels, installing devices like routers and switches, and setting up access points. Adherence to safety protocols and industry standards is critical to us  during this phase.
  5. Configuration and Connectivity: Once we have done all physically installations we then make sure that all devices are configured to work together like  setting up IP addresses, configuring security settings (e.g., firewall rules, VPNs), and ensuring all devices can communicate effectively.
  6. Testing and Validation: TRunning a rigorous testing is another important part about the project and is performed to ensure the network functions as planned and meets performance requirements. This includes cable certification, performance testing to identify bottlenecks, and security audits. Any issues discovered are addressed promptly by our professional team.
  7. Documentation and Handover: Detailed documentation is eventually done by our technicall team, outlining the network design, configurations, and maintenance procedures. At Captor Systems Ltd we priotise this documentation as vital for future troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades
  8. Ongoing Management and Maintenance: Post-installation, the network requires continuous monitoring, performance management, security updates, and regular hardware reviews to ensure its stability, security, and efficiency over time.
