Our Routine Service
Our Routine Maintenances include: cleaning of hardware, software updates, and periodic professional servicing to ensure accuracy and functionality. Key maintenance tasks include cleaning sensors, checking for environmental issues, and updating the underlying software to prevent security vulnerabilities and improve performance.

Hardware maintenance
  • Cleaning: Regularly clean sensors, cameras, and other hardware with a soft cloth to remove dust, oil, and moisture that can interfere with readings.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect hardware for any signs of wear or damage, such as scratches on a fingerprint sensor.
  • Connections: Check that power supplies and cable connections are secure.

Software and system maintenance
  • Updates: Keep the operating system and the biometric management software updated to patch security holes and enhance performance.
  • System checks: Run diagnostics on the system, including the network and database, to ensure everything is working correctly.
  • User logs: Review access logs to monitor for unusual activity.

Environmental and user factors
  • Environmental conditions: Be mindful of environmental factors like lighting, dirt, and temperature, which can affect performance.
  • User training: Train users on proper usage, such as how to place their finger correctly on the scanner and to ensure their hands are clean.
  • Address issues: Promptly fix any errors, such as a sensor not recognizing a fingerprint, to avoid workflow interruptions.

Professional servicing
  • Schedule maintenance: In addition to routine checks, it is recommended to schedule professional servicing every 6 to 12 months for a deeper cleaning and diagnostics.
